How do you get a service that costs £19?
We asked our friend Peter at Sherpa.co.uk, who’s been writing a monthly column about the best ways to spend your hard-earned cash on luxury cars, vans and other luxury products.
Here’s what he had to say: “The cheapest and easiest way to get Sherpa auto transportation is to book a ticket from London to Edinburgh, then transfer your car to a different car company in the United Kingdom and then transfer to a second car company from Edinburgh.
The second car has to have the same driver as the first, otherwise the first driver will have to be removed from the vehicle and replaced with a new driver.
The first driver must also be booked through Sherpa’s booking system and then the second driver has to pick up their Sherpa vehicle from the car rental company at the Sherpa office.
This is a huge savings of over £20 and if you are driving a car with Sherpa you can expect to get the cheapest rates available for any transport in the UK.
There is a big catch though: there is a limit on how many times you can book a trip.
This means that if you want to go back to London and book a ride to Edinburgh on the Sherpas second car, you will have a maximum of four trips to Scotland.
Sherpa have also put in an extra £10 per ticket for extra security checks and extra security, which means that there is an extra charge of £7 for extra baggage.”
Sherpa has also made a special offer to customers in the U.K. The service, which is not available on Sherpa UK website, is available for booking for £17 per person, and includes free two-day tickets and one-way air travel to and from Edinburgh, as well as the privilege of bringing a dog along for the journey.
If you’re planning a long road trip or want to save money, it might be worth booking a Sherpas car service to Edinburgh from London, as there is no other service offering such a low rate.
